Shannon wanted something personal to give her husband on his birthday. Here is just a sample...
"It was actually a birthday present for him, he was so surprised when he unwrapped them (for some reason he had convinced himself that I was getting him a new couch?) he was really happy and has hung every picture up in the house.
It was a little bit of a present to me as well, I wanted some pictures of me in my 20's before I had kids or anything..
I'm so happy with everything, you guys are amazing." Shannon
21 year old Justine saw a friends portraits and had to come. We were lucky enough to meet her lovely and supportive fiance Stewart as well (perhaps we'll get him in front of the camera another time!) We wish them both all the best for their upcoming wedding.
"I love them they are amazing everyone has commented on them. They are my newly prized possesions. Thank you again." Justine
Thi Thuan booked her session with us after seeing her friend Phuong's portraits hanging on her walls. For moral support Phuong came with Thi Thuan for both the session and viewing. Having experienced it all before Phuong was a great help in choosing Thi Thuans wall portraits. Thi Thuan's delicate frame and big smile won us over.
Elva first contacted us wanting a special gift for her partner, before they move to Newman. She mentioned that she had really done her research when looking into "Glamour Photography" and that many of her friends had already been to studios. It was the artistic element of Garry's feminine portraiture that was appealing and in booking her session Elva said "I am excited to have found a studio where natural beauty is captured rather than something artificial." This was music to our ears as this is what we strive for. Beautiful feminine portraits that are as appealing to women as they are to men as well as portraits that are recogniseable not retouched to the point where the subject is no longer your girlfriend, fiance, wife, mother, daughter, sister or friend. Portraits that are unrecogniseable leave your loved ones feeling cold.
Elva thank you for coming it was a pleasure to meet you and Troy. All the best for the future and hopefully we'll see you both again. Enjoy your portraits - we think they are stunning.
I love black & white photography - it helps create a timeless feel that is both beautiful and natural.
