Elva first contacted us wanting a special gift for her partner, before they move to Newman. She mentioned that she had really done her research when looking into "Glamour Photography" and that many of her friends had already been to studios. It was the artistic element of Garry's feminine portraiture that was appealing and in booking her session Elva said "I am excited to have found a studio where natural beauty is captured rather than something artificial." This was music to our ears as this is what we strive for. Beautiful feminine portraits that are as appealing to women as they are to men as well as portraits that are recogniseable not retouched to the point where the subject is no longer your girlfriend, fiance, wife, mother, daughter, sister or friend. Portraits that are unrecogniseable leave your loved ones feeling cold.

I Had Actually the Guts to Go Through With It!

Dear Garry and Odelia

How can I EVER thank you – and my partner, Tony – for what you have done for me???????

Not only did you make a dream come through, but you made it in the most beautiful way possible.

The day I left your studio after the photo shoot, I felt like a queen. I HAD ACTUALLY HAD THE GUTS TO GO THROUGH WITH IT, and after about 3 incredible hours with Garry I left feeling on top of the world. You made me feel so relaxed, protected and calm, Garry – I knew I could trust you, and that made the very shy me feel ok even when completely naked in front of you. What an accomplishment J

I even knew that if NONE of the photos would be good, I wouldn´t mind – cause inside I had found the courage to go through with it. The next day Tony and I came to review the photos, and I think I spent the next 5 hours in tears – very HAPPY and surprised tears. And the one sentence that kept both running through my head and also coming out of my mouth was: I AM NOT UGLY!!!! I AM NOT UGLY!!!! Having Tony´s reactions to the photos really helped too, cause I was so unwilling at first to let him look at them with me as I simply thought so badly of myself. There was just no doubt to what he thought when seeing the photos – he LOVED them, AS DID I - and everyone else I have shown them too afterwards. I am framing the enlarged ones, and one will even be put up on a wall in my living room. Not bad for a woman who just 2 years ago thought of herself as the ugliest, most incompetent, worse person alive on this planet, huh!

Thank you for being there, thank you for being YOU, thank you for what you do – for how you make your clients feel.

It truly is a memory for life, and in my heart I will always be grateful for you letting me see the real me that everyone else have tried to tell me that they see.

Even I can now see I am not ugly!

A Long Way from Norway

"I am scared stiff, but excited at the same time as I have been dreaming of this for MANY years. However, having given birth to 3 kids has made me kind of just letting these thoughts stay ……………well, thoughts. Having kids, means it shows on your body – and that is terrifying when it comes to having pics taken.

And now it is to happen. OMG!! Well, I presume you are used to these hesitations and fears, so anything you can tell me, any info would be highly appreciated. I have to tell you that the first time I saw your web.site, I was simply stunned – cause this was EXACTLY what I had been dreaming of!!! These beautiful black & white photos, sensual without going over the top, the stories behind the pics, EVERYTHING…… Wonderful, simply wonderful."

When Arianne mentioned to her partner that she had wanted a portrait session for years he heard! Then he researched and found us! Arianne was coming to Perth from Norway for a holiday, he wanted to fulfil her dream as well as show her the way that he sees her. Arianne as with a majority of women has low self esteem when it comes to her looks, her beauty is undeniable and now she has portraits that are a physical representation of this.

 
 

 
 

We have many interstate and overseas clients who have sessions with us while they are in Perth. As all prints are produced by us using only fine art papers and archival materials we can have your order usually created within the timeline required. Larger prints are packed (usually unframed) making them easy to travel with.

18 Months Later and My Wife Still Thanks Me

Received this lovely email from Mark today. Last year Mark wanted to give his wife Ewa a really intimate gift for their anniversary, his main concern was capturing the more personal side of her that he sees, but in a way that she would be completely comfortable. She was anxious about the session as 99% of our clients are but when she arrived at the studio she quickly realised there was nothing to be concerned about and actually had a great time, as 100% of our clients do!

18 months ago my wife had a restless nights sleep & was out of bed around 0630hrs manifesting a feeling of apprehension. I had pre-booked her an anniversary gift at Sarre Photography.

Her session started at 0900 hrs & finished at 1300 hrs.

 

 I believed she would enjoyed being pampered while those surrounding her tended her every need in preparation for her photo shoot. I was not so sure observing her apprehension that morning & I questioned myself on my arrangements, after all anniversaries were to be fun & stress free.

She didn't know what to wear & gathered up many outfit including her wedding dress, she also threw in her favourite red dress & joke about her white Faux fur for a Marilyn Monroe look. I knew she was feeling a little better as she joked with nervous tension.

 

Looking back 18 mths ago to those moments we both realised it was an immensely fun filled 1/2 day. My wife on more than one occasion has thanked me for capturing those memorable moments in time & her portraits adorn our walls & are admired every day.

Pretty Precious Pregnant Parks Portrait Photography Perth

In case you haven't noticed - we love pregnancy portraits. It is such a unique time. Meeting parents whose lives are on the cusp of changing so dramatically and having the priviledge of sharing and capturing them in a beautiful way is exciting.

Rowena and Steve are expecting their first child together in nine short weeks, we wish them all the best for a safe and happy delivery and hope to meet baby Parks again in the near future.
